About us
Adat Israel was founded with the vision of welcoming all Reform, progressive, liberal and conservative Jews who wish to share our traditions in a context of equality and human warmth. We belong with great pride to the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) and La Unión Judía Reformista (UJR) whose main objectives are to group progressive Jewish entities in the world and thus stay together as we grow and strengthen our Judaism. Our values revolve around reform and a progressive-modern vision of our tradition. We share our support and acceptance to minorities including the LGBTQ + community under the principle of ve'ahavta larecha kamocha - And you shall love your neighbor as yourself
